Welcome to the very first post on the Thrifted.net blog! I am embarrassed to say how long it has taken me to launch this thing, and it there are still some changes to be made to the html, but I am determined to start right now. My first post is about a new customer of mine, wardrobe stylist Annabel Tollman. With a celebrity client list way too long to list, Annabel Tollman has dressed everyone from Scarlett Johansson to Cynthia Nixon. You can imagine my excitement, when she purchased an adorable pair of vintage beige-and-cream polka dotted shorts from the store yesterday. The purchase was followed by a charming email explaining that the shorts are for her "by the way" and that they reminded her of an outfit that Julia Roberts wears in Pretty Woman (which is EXACTLY what I thought of when I picked them out). Other news, eBay came to visit my studio today (they actually walked over since eBay is literally right down the street) to interview me about the buying experience on eBay. It made me a little nervous because they video taped it. I don't like having my picture taken, much less videoed, so it felt a little awkward at first.
